  • I never knew this about H2O2.

  • Hydrogen Peroxide is actually toxic, however our cells and I guess fish cells produce an enzyme called catalase that breaks down H2O2 into the H2O and O2. That being said, when you pour hydrogen peroxide on an open wound the foaming bubbles you see isn't bacteria being killed rather your body breaking down the h2o2 into water and oxygen.

  • So would this also work to help keep minnows alive in a bucket?
