@AllFractUp The problem is the hacker would have to install the key grabber, which would require a password. They will find a way eventually, but for now in OS X there has yet to be a wild widespread remotely-controlled virus attack.

@AllFractUp You can still upgrade. People Upgrade their iMac Harddrives themselves all the time. You just have to buy from the exact manufacturer (samsung, usually) otherwise the fan control fails and you get into nasty overheating problems. It isn’t impossible, it’s just takes a little more finesse and some suction cups to pull the screen off. But different strokes!
