@savenleikkaaja Yeah sure...einstein and jesus in one person. at least in his own imagination. What has he really done or said of any real importance? His only selling dreams for dreamers...that´s good business, but don´t confuse it with thinking... This pretentious dumkopf is only killing philosophy...to laugther.

@11cola most finns??? Well, am a finn you know and I take this a kind of offense...Himanen speaks bad english; the way his finnish accent sound through is terrible. But listen to Esa Pekka salonen speak english for instance. That sounds good. This Himanen is a pretender and a fool and the way he speaks is only one more proof he has no passion and no idea. Only those as unintellectual and lacking any idea as he is can disagree. A fool is a fool exept for a fool.

@Hiidenlintu I'll try to resist the temptation of getting into an argument over here with another "brat" of the same age as me. But I will say this, his thoughts may not be of your liking, but its hard to think of another Finnish philosopher today who would have achieved more than him. I believe there's something to his ideas. And please, calm down :) If you believe he is incompetent to formulate anything functional that could be applied to today's world, then you have nothing to worry about!

@hopeariipusheinakuu Great thinker?! Are you serious? His such naiive decadent humanist with no relation with actual reality and world facts. His publications are but mockery of the tradition of western philosophy. Yet some stupid brats assume him a "great thinker" he is not such in the context of philosphical tradition. The only thing which goes further than his eminent arrogance is his incompetence to formulate anything that'd functional in real world.

It seems you are basing your view of him rather on his way of speaking (such as the strong accent) than his achievements... he is indeed a great thinker as someone posted here earlier

He is actually a great thinker! (Even though everybody can not "understand" him, that just doesn't tell really much about his contribution or skill).
