Haleakala Bike Ride - Maui Hawaii

Haleakala Bike Ride in Maui with Mountain Riders. You leave around 3am from your hotel and ride in a van up to the top of the mountain. Its freezing so they give you jackets but you better have gloves and layers and layers. After watching the hopefully nice sunrise you then start to ride on down as the sun rises further. As you go down you stop periodically and shed more clothes throwing them into the van that rides behind you to keep cars from running you over or trying to pass you.

Not much differnce in company operations and they all take the same route. Hopefully you'll get a good guide, a solid bike and the other riders in your group are able to steer a bicycle in a carlane, traveling right around the speed limit. pretty much the same as riding a moped.

moutain riders, maui moutain cruisers, maui downhill, bike it maui, and cruiser phils are also really good companies.
