  • hey where are all those lisbon jobs promised!!!

  • what coir have said is not inaccurate, its fact since we got lied to about the nice treaty aswell which was forced on us twice, pols having been working in this country below the minimum wage.

  • "The substance of what was agreed in 2004 has been retained. What is gone is the term 'constitution'"

    - Dermot Ahern, Irish Foreign Minister, commenting on the Lisbon Treaty, Daily Mail Ireland, 25 June 2007

    Vote No!

  • The guarantees are not legally binding.

On Friday, we're voting on the same treaty as last year. They didn't want to add the so called guarantees to the treaty because they don't want anyone stepping out of line.

This who thing is a charade and we will suffer for voting yes. If the yes side win then us in Ireland deserve the misery we get.

  • Ah Spenner, me ole segosia, GET A LIFE

  • europe is good but lisbon will be the end to the europe that your talking about. think about it.

  • Ireland for Europes representative on RTE today was defeated hands down. Will you stop using past references as your case.

Heres a past reference, back when the Nice treaty was introduced our Government said to think a load of Polish etc people would be coming to our shores was a joke, and that Polish people etc had no intentions on coming over. Today I can go down to the shop and by a Polish news paper! No offense to Polish people.

Enough is enough, I've been to Turkey.

    NO TO LISBON.

  • I completely agree, its bullying and scare mongering and ramming this legislation down our throats continually.

And what part of the legislation stimulates job growth in any way?
