Great idea to slit open a power adapter housing peteytwofinger. Thank you for sharing it. I tried using the idea to open a DC power jack. Its easy.
How could one close back the poweradapter after doing the job so that the work look seamless

@Bylga thanks , its really easy , just use a fan . the fumes are nasty . also make sure you dont mix up the polarity (positive and negative) use a voltmeter . if you dont have one , you can do the "touch test" , QUICKLY touch the wires together , see if it works , but . maybe even an led with a resistor .

i have a broken wifi ac adaptor :( ikd how to fix it i have to turn the wires and twist them so that it can work but it would just turn off
