Flying Lights Near Hulhumale', Maldives

saw these lights coming across Male' towards Hulhumale' and disappear. i was in hulhumale'. it was around 2200hrs tonight. and to make things even more creepy, all of a sudden it started raining heavily right after these lights disappeared.

could be lights or lamps attached to a balloon or something. it was windy so it could gain that speed. but the lights were so bright.

EDIT: turns out they were flying lanterns. probably a test run before this event to mark World Aids Day in Male'.
