ah, ok. I don't watch him enough to know that. Now that I think about it, I'm sure you're right and he was trying to fan the flames of bigotry. It just seemed strange that he would have on commentators that shoot down that bigotry with reason, and they do get the upper hand IMO, but I suspect he does that so he can claim being fair and balanced blah blah if anyone tries to call him out on his tactics

Okay, but what exactly did O'reilly do that's bigoted? The fact that he brought it up without it being a known fact? I didn't follow the story, but I"m assuming it must have been fairly obvious that Lambert was of a certain orientation. So then how is it anymore bigoted to assume it's true and bring it up than in the other examples I gave before? For the record I don't like being in the position of defending scoundrels

the problem is that at the time of the show Adam was not out. He was assuming and was going right to the mind of the bigot that he is. no one but him really made any nose about it, so yea, i have a problem with him for that

I dislike O'reilly as much as anyone, but I'm going to be devil's advocate and ask: is this any different than if O'reilly had instead asked whether or not Obama being black, or Hillary being female would influence others' respective support for those individuals? Is that a bigoted question? Or is that a fair question? I don't know. If asking the same question w/r to Lambert is bigoted, than it would be equally bigoted to have asked the same about Hillary, or Obama, etc--isn't that right?
