I rode this in Disneyland back in October for the first time. I'm not a fan of "Wind in the Willows" (the book), so I freely admit that the ride didn't get any real, unsarcastic reaction from me... until I found myself getting run over by a train and in hell. Fair play to the Imagineers for keeping riders on their toes.

@scottpilgremvsdepie It's cause it's heated. I also heard that people would spit on the painted metal Satan and the Cast Members would have to clean him off after closing.

Wen I was little my mom made me drive and I thought I was driving for real and was terrified and thought I drove horribly. In the hell room the heat in there...I thought I'd driven us to our deaths LOL. definitely a wild ride

@theaterqueen95 That's not a huge loss, except the line is now extraordinarily long, and you have to travel a great distance to get there.

@darrencrisslovesme; scary as in 'wow, didn't expect a kid's ride to be this scary.' & never said i didn't like it. it's pretty awesome, especially the hell part.
