This is truly dope. I really like that sample. The drums were pure hip-hop. I think it sounds fine the way it is. I do agree with @dubbsway4life, the snare may sound better if it were sharper. I really do like this beat so I'm gonna check out your soundclick link to hear more. God Bless.

It's cool to see a female producer.Hip hop is so male dominated in that respect.I like the sample choice.I think it would have sounded better if the beat was sped up a little bit and if you picked a sharper snare.Just constructive criticism,not bashin' you.Keep doin' your thing.Peace !

@jayloubeatz one of the reason its better to sample from records, partucularly older records is because they have that special pop and his thats you just can not get from a cd. now adays you can just use a preset to add this sound to a track so really it just comes down to preference. plus records are just way cooler to collect then a flimsy ass cd.
