@SkaMasta097 um, maybe they have similar phrasing, but they are nothing alike at all.

uplifter is way too slow besides this and indian ink there new slow songs just don't grow on you as the old ones did and this was for sure a letdown more than don't tread on me. Universal pulse is all good except like one song, but it is way too short there better be a B side to it. In all respects i like all there albums but dislike this one. Only 2 of their songs on here were good where as I can listen to every song on every album, just not dont tread on me or uplifter.

further explanation: The beginning sounds like Large in the Margin, the pre-chorus reminds me of SOAD (esp. the vocals), the chorus riff sounds like Freeze Time, and the "magic" lyric reminds me of the old McDonald's commercials "Do you believe in magic?". Still a decent song though. 311 forever!
