haha.. i remember an old lady who had one of these... one day the lady died and a few days after i was there feeding it and talking to it... then i went in the other room... and the bird started talking with a voice just like the lady (owner who past) scary.. and when someone came to the door it said "C'mon Inn"...and it sang and whistled and danced. they are such fun birds.

@Azel247 When Poirot is scared of something silly, such as a new toy or perch, I'd tell him to touch it, then back off with the item. It really helped him overcome fear of many items. African greys are fairly skittish birds, but through this phrase and method, Poirot has become pretty fearless now.
