Almost killing/thrashing competition series sub

Overpowering the sub just to see how far it goes....at the end of video, coils were warm and I could smell it....Blaupunkt 18" vpw 460 running of RF t20001bd in a custom boot enclosure made by galen to fit in febs white nissan cefiro a32...sub is connected to 1 ohm and is getting atleast 2kw+ if not more...The custom box is far from complete, There is a top cover to go on so none of the box will be seen, it will also give a big flat boot area.

cheers man. im putting in some solid 2000rms or more into the sub...earthquake amps im not too familiar with..all i know is if i turn my amp up, it will blow the sub within seconds!! any idea what frequency your box/ports tuned to?

hey man if you build a box you actually have to look up the air space you need and port area. if you do that i promise you if will hit wayy harder. if you want a little quality slot port it.

I was gonna get me one of these subs but they're too big and take up too much room. Sounds awesome and these things take about 1800wrms and 5400w peak so there's still alot of potential.
