I rant about recent politics. What happens when you mix a whole bunch of disenfranchised Republicans with a global crisis? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

At one point I say a few numbers that I didn't confirm before hand. I say Loiusiana Governor Bobby Jindal is rejecting $1M of $18M, and these numbers are way off. Jindal is actually rejecting $98M of $3.6B, which is an even smaller percentage.

I just found out that our beloved Governor Palin turned down more than 25% of the bailout funding that would have gone to her state. Most of this money dealt with expanding education, while the rest deals with unemployment benefits, senior benefits, etc. Sigh.

Interestingly enough, the day after I posted this, I instantly got about 400 views from www.democraticunderground.com

I figured if you use my video extensively, I might as well let people know about the site.

I want to salute you for having the courage to say this. Since the 80s the corporate GOP along with former Dixiecrats have formed an unholy alliance with theocratic elements within our society. Their policies are now bearing fruit. I truly hope that Republicans like you find their voices because a viable opposition is absolutely necessary for a healthy democracy. Yours is a stance that can bring about this much needed turning point.

We live in interesting times.
