Ellen McIlwaine - Up In Heaven Shouting

This was filmed at The Vancouver Island Music Fest in 2004. I was volunteering on security and got to request this as Ellen entered the backstage area. It was for a Sunday morning "Church" type set with other artists. She blew the rest of the stage away and people were asking me who was that.

I've just knew her in several days before.

I listened to her old songs too,

`toe hold'or `born under～'

And I thought she's amazing.

I said `her singing is so original'^^

I heard she grew up here in Japan .

Regurdless of it, she's almost unknown in Japan.

@marisilence Thanks for replying. Now I understand what you are saying so your English is pretty good. Yes, Ellen did grow up in Japan. Her parents were Canadian missionaries and were stationed there. I am fortunate to have seen Ellen McIlwaine perform many many times since 1974. She has always been a friendly and inspiring musican.
