  • @66Sik...I agree with you totally...As much as I like baitcasting reels...Shimano Stella spinning reel is awesome and it has all the power/drag that any baitcasting reel can throw out. Thanks for the kind comments. More videos to come. Im working on the new video of our keywest trip where landed a very nice 20lb mahi mahi!

  • As you can see, when we first started out ...we didnt know much about salt water fishing...meaning the right equipment. Since being down here in tampa for a few years now we all have upgraded our equipment to the very best. Using mostly Shimano products. Currently using Terez Rods w/ Stella reel. We also use the Taltica and Trinadad for bait casting. Some may say why are ya using spinning reel instead of bait caster...The TRUTH...a lot eazier on your back ...you wont know until you hook 1 !

  • Nice fish! you know if there was all hmong people on that boat, that fish would have been some bomb ass "Laj!" Dont mind these fools on here talking bout how tired you were, they prob never fished ocean. there, fishes dont just go out and side to side, they can go down til the line breaks. Ever tried marlin or tuna? talk about reeling til ur arms go numb, theyre badass.

  • @hm008vaj ..lol...you better believe we could have turned that into some LAJ....would have called the entire family...lol...but no have not hooked up with a marlin or tuna but it is on the agenda! thanks bro!

  • Nice catch, bro. Good to see Hmong peeps out doing things like this. How much it cost for a guided fishing trip like that in Florida? Anyways, hope there's more BIG fish like that coming your way. Much luv

  • Price isnt too bad...depends on who you know. Our friend is a guide and he usually charges us 100 bucks a person. Considering were out 60 miles out. That really just pays fore the fuel and usually most guide only does a trip 8 hr meaning going to and fishing which just sucks. Our buddy is a die hard fisherman and really makes it worth it when we go with him.. Thanks bro...more viedos to come....stayed tuned!

  • But most people, at least from my experience fishing out of the Atlantic, still choose spinning tackle over baitcasting.

  • Totally agree with axiong813. And sorry, I was wrong and should have been more clear about my spinning reel explanation. They DO make baitcasting reels for big game fish too.

  • @HotAsianSausage, if you knew anything about fishing, you'd know that most fisherman use spinning tackle when fishing in the ocean. The reels are bigger and hold more line.

  • what kind of fish is that?

  • nice fish and i bet you that was hell of a workout, lost about 5 pounds just trying to reel that fish in

  • o shit that thing is fuckin big as hell

  • @HotAsianSausage

the point is they got the MONSTER haha

  • Hmong people use spinning rods cuz they cant use baitcasting ones lol
