Personally I would like to see Donald Trump or Stephen King run the health care system. It would be better than our Government. I would not vote for health care run by our Government. Everything they touch ends up in a big mess. They do things without much thought. Then they blame everyone else. Ask a Canadian how their health care works. And if they like it. It would not be any different.

What happened to "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country?" The current Democratic party's motto seems to be, "Ask not what you can do for your country, but bitch and moan about what you think you're entitled to because you were lucky enough to be born in the United States."

Bitch & moan? We had been bitching and moaning into freedom so that you can now enjoy. "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country", President JFK spoke to his country for his country not for illegal immigrant. Illegal immigrant aren't my country. Do not ask me to pay for you and your family healthcare. Is it lucky to be born in a free country? Y dn't you rise up & free your too? Do you have wat take to stay bitch & moan or you run like a coward?

Hold your horses, sir, I think we're on the same side. I'm saying that people nowadays ask what their country can do for them. Many people I've talked to believe that they're entitled to healthcare because they're a citizen of the U.S. I'm also a citizen, I'm white and was born and raised in Arkansas.
I am currently in college and a member of the Air National Guard because I believe in service to my country. I believe that nobody is entitled to healthcare.

We already have socialized medicine in this country. It's called the VA. If you want to see how bad your healthcare is going to be under this bill, go down to your local VA hospital and observe. Then be afraid, be VERY afraid!!!

I appreciate his comments, but ALL our industrial peers have the equivalent (one way or the other) of Medicare, covering ALL with low cost or no cost for care and medications.

Only in USA do 700,000 PER YEAR go bankrupt because of medical bills. The death counseling he mentions has been largely debunked. I've studied proposed health ins revisions, and that has been raised as a legitimate issue.

consider: MEDICARE FOR ALL

There's no such thing as "Democrats" any longer. The Socialist Party is implementing a federal government coup right under the noses of American citizens.

Health care is similar to a classroom environment. Here is what I mean. Current wisdom is such that low achieving students, when introduced into a high achieving class, will rise to the level of the high achievers. From experience I have never seen that work. What happens is the achievement of the whole class goes down. That is what will happen with the overall quality of health care.

If you're a poor person, you're going to get shitty health care no matter what. Socialized medicine won't bring you up. It will bring everyone else down to the same sucky level of medical care you get.
