US Senior Citizen Speaks Out on Healthcare Bill - Part 1

30 years of data on a planet millions of years old. You libs are so gullible in your quest to feel good about yourself. Please don't spew your fantasy religion on the rest of us. At least we "observe" revelant facts instead of manufacturing them. The only thing man made about global warming is the idea of it (by your now rich prophit Al Gore).

You know what? I don't put these posts up to antagonize or try to create animosity. I doubt "I'm" going to change your mind and you're definitely not going to change mine. I just wish people would inform themselves rather than speak out of ignorance. Partly, so I can have an intelligent discourse with them. I realize that many people choose to keep themselves from the facts & those people are, 9 out of 10 times, conservatives. It's right in the definition. Conservatives are afraid of change.

Even the scientists are afraid to publish the truth. The data is so compelling. Who wants to believe an asteroid is coming to destroy the earth? Any descent scientist would be scared to death to make such a report. A similar circumstance exists with climate scientists. Go look at the data. Inform yourself of the facts. Look at what was, so called, "covered up" in these emails. I just read the story and it's the usual. The right, taking advantage of nothing but the ignorance of their followers.

Make new friends.... keep the old... one is silver, one is gold! That was a sign that hung in my grandma's kitchen.  One truth that we all must bare,.... is that,.....; we make our own beds and may we lie in them! God Bless and peace be with you!

Let's face it, we all may work for other bosses, but ultimately, we are looking out for ourselves and family. Regardless of our race or political affiliation, that outside our futrure security or personal proliferation is going to be met with resistance and denial. What's causing all the cancer, the hatred, the violence, the desire for change? This is a very diverse nation that is rapidly changing, are we going to be able to hold it together? People influence, not leaders!

And btw. If you check geologic history. This planet has been much warmer and colder than now. Mother earth will do as it pleases despite anything humans do.

Of course, and I completely agree with you about the temp. changes in earth's geologic past. I took enough geology in college to understand the earths past and why it was hot and cold at different moments. I have to disagree with your 2nd point though. We can warm the earth by emitting incredible amounts of green house gasses and we could possibly cool it by putting giant reflectors in outer space. Though I think the 2nd option isn't technically feasible at the moment.

Have you read the bill? I know many in office have not read it completely. Many bills are not read completely by those who are voting.

No, I haven't read all of it of course. But the passages being read here are not in the bill. I know someone who tediously maneuvered through the bill and found the areas pertaining to the statements made here and these are fabrications taken from I don't know where.
