Quest in the Mushroom Kingdom: Unnamed

This is the first level of a new hack I started recently, called "Quest in the Mushroom Kingdom". As of now, this level is unnamed.

The level itself is in the first world, and features SMB1 mushrooms. It has a few bonus areas, which are not shown due to me not wanting to spoil them. The first area is fairly linear; the second area has a few alternate paths to take.

Now, more about the hack. As you see in the half-second of sight the overworld gets here, there are many paths to take (the path I took with the level, a pipe, and a bridge). The worlds can be completed in various orders, and all worlds are either accessed from the crossroad at the beginning or the area in the pipe.

EDIT: If you do comment, at least make it specific (e.g. don't say just "it's good" or "it's generic" or something like that).

I'm playing this hack right now, and I think it's perfect. Music is nice, difficult is okay, graphics are good (not too many ExGFX) etc. Keep going.

A really good hack but could do with

1: SMW Goombas, Koopas and other enemies changed to their SMB3 Counterparts.

2: SMB3 Music has always been far more better than than SMW's offering

3: The SMB3 Mario Sprite from Mario All Stars would look better too.

4: Racoon, Tanooki and Hammer Mario would also be a bonus

I have always thought that SMB3 was far more superior as you can tell and if this is meant to be mushroom land, more authenticity is gonna be needed. Overall, so far so good!

Very nice, Pieguy! I love how you try to create what would be in an actual Mario game, which is something all hackers who are aiming for a "Super Mario World 2" typed hack should go for. Very nice overall.

personally i love i thought i was actually watching someone play a alternate mario or something i had no idea u made that :D nice job and by the way i think u should give it to nitendo and get their aproval maybe u can get a new series out of a XD like a modern-classic kinda thing XD

The level design is good, but the level is kind of bland. There's no common theme to it, just some plain ol' Mario level.

Not necessarily bad.
