2012 Canadian Badminton National Championships Teaser

This is just a teaser video to promote the 2012 Canadian National Championships for Badminton, to be held at the Glencoe Club in Calgary, Alberta, from February 1-4, 2012. The video also features the Yonex Canadian National Team that are Olympic-track for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Footage is a collaboration of the videos on my YouTube Channel and pictures are from various sources, including the 2011 Canadian National Championships, the 2011 Maldives International, the 2011 Pan American Games, and other sources, including photos from Romy Young Photography, Badminton Photo, and Badminton Central. Credits are also at the end of the video featuring the photo credits. Music belongs to Street Fighter IV (Shop PV BGM). Hopefully YouTube will allow me to use the song and just put an iTunes link on the video...

If you are curious about the beginning of the video, I'm not too fond of the song the BWF uses, so I used a song from Street Fighter IV instead. Hence, a few tributes to Street Fighter, including their logo, a couple of sound clips (e.g. 'Hadoken'), and of course, the "Here Comes A New Challenger" to challenge the BWF song. Obama in the video doesn't really make sense either, but I just thought it was funny, that's all...
