This song is written by Thom Bishop, aka Junior Burke. One of the best songwriters of his generation.

I believe the pianist is Paul Ford. He is brilliant, matches Mandy quite well.
-
Does anyone know who that pianist is? He seems to play for Mandy a lot, and I want to know. He's good accompaniment, and very talented himself. Great pair in my mind.

STUNNING...the impact of this song is amazing, a couples experience in the depths of a realationship...and the spark that can rekindle the thoughts of why you are together...MANDY IS ONE OF THE FEW THAT COULD DO THIS SONG JUSTICE

SO SPIRITUAL AND BEAUTIFUL

The incredible talent of this man is just mind boggling - while I enjoyed him in "Dead Like Me" (they let him sing!) - I didn't like his part in "Criminal Minds" - hope he is onto bigger and better singing roles - he just gets better and better as he gets older!
Mandy Patinkin, sitting in a chair, singing -- one of the most enthralling things I've ever watched!!

I was crazy about Mandy from the moment I saw him in Chicago Hope. I live in England and have only visited the USA once . I went to NYC picked a hotel at random and then found Mandy was playing at a theatre on the very same street W50th ,managed to get a ticket and see him (Oct 2004). He was brilliant and how about that for fate .?
