Made in a scant two days for the July 2010 IFP 48 Hour Film Challenge, Weekend At Bernie's III is considered to be one of the finest completions to a series in trilogy history. Think of third movies: Godfather III. Jaws III. Back To the Future III. All abhorrent crap, yes? Well, not this one, folks. Here, Bernie, having been dead for decades at this point, is looking for love... in all the wrong places. That is, until he meets Bernadette - another corpse desperate for a starry-eyed posthumous romance. The stiffs begin a courtship, accompanied by their "handlers", who happen to be having a tough time meeting love interests themselves. Prop: a paintbrush. Line of dialog required: "I'm so hungry". Genre: Romantic Comedy. Result: supreme cuteness. Original Music by The Multi Award Winning Male Pattern Radness with Michelle Edwards of Dangerville.
I love it. Very funny.
