Albert Wang takes you on a journey back into time with his life story on how he discovered his problem with Schizophrenia as a young person. This compilation of short episodes reveal his inward struggles, questions, trials and triumphs in the various stages of his life.
Schizophrenia is a lifelong predicament that has no cure. This book exposes the myths about schizophrenia so that we can better understand others who may be dealing with it. In this book you will also meet several characters in Alberts life who have wrestled with schizophrenia. They too share a glimpse of the challenges faced by people with mental disorders.
A large portion of Alberts struggle was in the quest to succeed academically in the throes of a progressing Malaysia in the 80s. Despite being overwhelmed by disappointments and an uncertainty of the future, Albert presses on to do his best.
This book is Alberts first venture in writing. It is a good read simply because it is honest and insightful.

About Albert Wang Tew Jit
Albert Wang Tew Jit was born in Petaling Jaya. He was the sixth child in a family of seven. He studied in La Salle Primary and Secondary School where he became active as a librarian and was also a member of Interact Club, Senior Literary and Debating Society, Green House Volleyball captain and played for the school volleyball team. .
Later he pursued his sixth form at Vanto Academy where he became the Art Club chairman. Subsequently, he went to Goon Institute to study City and Guild in Computer Programming and Information Processing.
The following year, Albert went to Toronto to further his higher education and passed his Grade 13 diploma in Ottawa Rideau High School. He then went to Montreal to do his double major in Country and Town Planning and Library Science. In Montreal, he was a university leader at Concordia University and also became a church leader at the Chinese Disciple Church of Montreal.
In his spare time, Albert enjoys stamp collecting, doing craftwork, shopping, cooking, reading, writing, watching movies, gardening, and travelling. He frequently exercises by playing badminton and taking evening walks. As a Christian, he also likes to share his faith with others as well.
Albert is now a leader in an organisation called the In-Touch-Peer-Group (ITPG). He has worked as a professional businessman for the last seven years. He has set up the library system for Youth for Christ and Shelter Homes. Currently, he offers counseling support and actively lectures at Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA).
