I an a Florida native and I can't wait for this place to just sink down into the swamp it's built on. Wretched pay, jobs (if you can find one), educational ghetto and anything that's done is done strictly for money and specifically tourist money. If I could afford to leave, I'd put palm trees out of my life for good. Florida is only a great place if you can leave in a week.

sure we have the technology but any company that you get to do the job will have to be above rigging anything for either party.The system may work as designed but let's say for example the company that makes it leans to the right so they decide to program the thing to count only half of the Dems votes who would know?How could you check?There isn't any hard copy it's all done on the computer.Now do you see my point?

In this high tech age we should be able to figure a way to vote online, banks, stock brokers, the social security administration and other government agencies have secure sites, so we should be able to figure a solution to voting online.

As much as I would like that on one hand on the other given all we've seen I don't think I would trust a online vote count.I think BarbaraWeaver up there is correct.Giving people their ballots through the mail would be nice especially if done early.Give people enough time to mull it over and get the info they need to make informed choices.I think I still would turn my ballot in at the ballot box though.
