  • Excellent Video!. Pervious concrete has been utilized for many years in the U.S. from the NW to the SE for over 20 years and with proper design, installation, and maintanence it will stand up to the test of time. It's held in freeze thaw climates such as Chicago and the NE. Momentive's innovative pervious additive (HexiCrete PC-350) eliminates the need for plastic/visquine covering during curing! - Check out the momentive hexiCrete youtube videos and momentivehexiCrete website

  • This concrete copies the natural process that water takes everyday outside of the paved world. Under the concrete sits 12"-20" of crushed rock so pools and potholes are not an issue. A large amount of research and engineering goes into planning of these processes. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • so water passes through, to pool and erode the earth underneath, creating potential for huge potholes and damage?

    How is this mitigated?

  • thats simply amazing...
