外婆兒孫滿堂，但卻像獨居老人一樣生活著，同住一棟屋的兒媳如陌路人，家人的關係只靠一年一度的拜山活動來維繫。年輕導演有感於外祖母生活孤單無助，走進老人家的世界，去­了解她與自己母親、舅父等長輩的錯縱複雜的關係。

Even though old granny lives with her son's family, she feels alone. And she is treated with disrespect by her children. Ironically, the annual grave sweeping day seems to be the only so-called family tie. One day, her young director granddaughter decides to look into her gloomy life and to find out why.
