The Drive Home (Aarktica)

On the drive home from my Explosions In the Sky concert I took a few videos of the fog covering the highway. Edited in about five minutes. The song in the video is "You Have Cured a Million Ghosts from Roaming In My Head" by Aarktica.

@smanticus Yeah, that's a fair point. My comment may translate as being a bit snappy, but wasn't meant that way. It's all subjective isn't it? In part, the original comment was that it was "depressive" which sounds to me like it's meant to make you feel sad. Personally, music like this tends to make me feel better, but also emotional. I imagine it does for most people who understand it.

@PTS74 I always wonder why people like you protest whenever someone characterizes a song as "sad" or "depressing," as though it's some sort of fault. Why can't it sound depressing? What's wrong with that? Depression, too, needs a soundtrack, like anything else. And is it really all that astounding that someone can listen to this haunting, overcast, minor-key song and think it sounds dark and mournful?
