Despite an international ban, the trade in endangered animals to the Middle East is flourishing. This exclusive report tracks the dealers, buyers and government officials who protect them.
In January 2005, a crate containing six baby chimpanzees and four monkeys was rescued from a flight from Cairo. The animals had been denied food and water for days and one soon died. Scouring flight records, animal investigators linked the shipment to a notorious wildlife smuggler. It's believed this smuggler traffics an average of 40 chimpanzees a year, bribing airport officials. Despite a wealth of evidence against her, she has never been prosecuted.

so what got that to do with Egypt or Cairo ?

  • @CANLILIK has nothing to do with Egypt...this happens in Egypt and it had to be exposed..as I saw other reports in other countries I can tell that I would not judge the country but the laws and the people who do it.

  • Hello. I'm Egyptian and I don't think this has to do with hating one country but exposing smugglers in one of them.. I have just created a group on facebook "I hate heba ahmed sad " please join and let's expose this evil creature that wants to get rich at the expense of innocent animals..

  • These animals are mean, nasty vermin with no purpose whatsoever. So what if they die, big deal. They are so damned rotten and ugly.

  • That's the distribution of rainforests in Africa for all the ignorants here,

and yes there is a lot of illegal poaching and smuggling done by the nomads in Sinai and along the coast of the Red sea, but I can assure you there aren't any kind of primates (except for humans ofcourse) only snakes, crocs, deer, foxes, wolves and wild cats.

    I'm Egyptian by the way.

  • this is just ISRAELI channel

Egypt does not any rain-forest not even any kind of monkeys , this is somewhere in Africa we ca hear the language of the people in this video.

and dialing in animals is legal world wide then how can we see animals worldwide.

Egyptian r only dealers ask the sellers and the origin countries.

  • @abdulbade No, you are not a great person, you are complicit in aiding the extinction of endangered animals. Wild animals belong in the wild not in the collections of selfish idiots.
