@zackhanscom I think you need to look up the word "cult" when it comes to movies, Zack.
-
@zackhanscom Er, that's why it's considered a cult movie.I wouldn't call it a classic but it's certainly a cult 70's British horror flick.
-
cult classic? no one's even heard of it.

The writer of the songs & singer of "Set Me Free", Richard Kerr, co wrote Manilow's "Mandy" & "Looks Like We Made It" ( he also wrote for Glenn Madeiros )

"Jesus Christ Superstar" was in vogue at the time, hence the 3 gospel rock numbers. The end title song "Set Me Free" is genuinely superb. The opening to this film is, without a doubt, as distinctive as you'll see in British cinema. I'd rather watch this film than "Peeping Tom" any day of the week.

That organ piece reminds me of the Sweeney Todd overture.

This is like "What if Ron Granier wrote a soul spiritual"-- It has a subtle OMEGA MAN vibe to it. Way better than the crap that they had me singing in Swing Choir in the 70s, which amounted to child abuse.
Hi- it is the actual intro!
