To finish my posting from earlier...He runs into his uncle. Cal's uncle Graham has always taught him that he has to keep the upper hand in everything he does. Cal tells him that the drugs are what give him the upper hand. Now, uncle Graham is gay. In order for him to keep his drugs, Cal thrusts uncle Grahams hand into his bits - and then straddles his wheel-chair and says, now "now don't....tell....mother." The implication being that he and his uncle.....
The Fix, I saw it twice when I was living in London in early 97 is about Cal, the Barrowman character. His dad is a senator running for U.S. president but he dies; so Cal's mom and uncle start grooming him to run for office - starting with city council all the way up to Senator. It actually was a great show and John Barrowman was very good in it. It's basically a John F. Kennedy story line - more or less. If you'd like to know more, let me know.
