My attempt to rid my apartment of fleas! Flea powder, Borax, table salt. Something, anything to kill these darn fleas!

Don't have fleas because I have no pet. Shit like this made me put off getting a cat. Can't imagine going to bed knowing those fucks are around. Stuff like this gives me the creeps.

I saw method on youtube and thought it was a prank but tried it anyway and it worked.You get a bright lamp place it in a corner put large bowls of warm soapy water in front of the light and turn the rest of the lights off in that room and wait overnight.They are attracted to the light like all bugs they will hop towards it and drown when then hit the water,caught over a thousand like that,I also used the borax and vacuumed every other day for 2 weeks.

I did some research, and while many essential oils that repel fleas are hard on cats' lungs, lavender is not, so I put some in my cat's brush n then brush the heck out of him. That, combined w/flea collar and Promeris, has eradicated his fleas, but they still live in our house...Bastards...And we don't even have any carpets!!!

@24Rorschach Tell me how it worked out. Our indoor(!) cat got fleas, and the bastards live all over our house now. We have sprayed, vacuumed constantly, treated the kitty...Etc...Why do they exist?!?! They are tenacious little bastards!

Kittens can be treated with simple Dawn dish liquid, it's safer. Other stuff you got with advice you gave is dead on.

Could we get an update on how this turned out? I'm about to do the same thing at my place. I don't see any fleas but the new doggie is getting them after a bath and before he goes out for a walk. They're in here somewhere. Just curious if this helped. Thanks.

My Dog just got infested with fleas for the 1st time in CA. I hate these fuckers, keep biting my goddamn ankles. The anti flea dip didnt work and the anti flea shampoo didnt work, so Im gonna go all out. Deep clean the carpets, fog bomb, etc. The world would be so much better without these bastards !
