  • my. punctuation? is, not/ the^point! of (this* conversation)

my point is there is a difference between a hit and miss engine and a throttle governed flywheel engine

  • You should use it to run an identical model Curtiss compressor and make yourself a functioning air compressor. Would be kinda funny.

  • is there a way to install this motor on my scooter?

  • At the RPMs shown in this video is it possible to stop this engine by a man's hand? Not a very normal question, but still a question! XD XD I just don't have any sensibility to understand how much power a human hand can make to stop an engine (in general terms, of course)... In this particular case I'm asking because the engine is working with low rpm so... could it be possible?

  • how did you make this? i have an old air compressor too but how do i convert it

  • this would be great for my 18ft sailboat, but throttle it up for travel and let it hit n' miss for idle

  • This does not have a large enough flywheel.

A hit and miss engine should keep something of constant speed.

But there is the other half of the answer, an air compressor uses the driving motor or engine as the primary flywheel.

Another flywheel would smooth things out.

  • whats powering it.

  • Ok, i understand everything except the lack of a camshaft turning half as fast as the crank, i do not see one! lol

  • amazing vid you made

  • wonderful creation

  • woow supercool
