I want everyone to look at these proxies up to the study date and tell me how well they correlate to current temperatures from instrument measurements. Seriously go do it. Ever wonder why they pick the points they do to blend proxy data with say GISS data sets.

It's interesting that he says that the bristlecones only show temp from where they grow. That makes sense to any normal person, but Mann's procedure actually assumes that the bcps show the temperature of the entire globe. It's called teleconnection to the "climate field".

Honestly, this is one of the most moronic excuses for science I've ever seen. Give me a break. If the general public knew how weak is the underlying data used to justify the human-caused warming hysteria, well, torches and pitchforks come to mind.
