@gtfiveliter yeah absolute rubbish for stock vehicle, but spot on for competition/tuned road engines like my 200bhp kit car :):):)

@gtfiveliter bosh spark plugs are rubbish. runs like it is going to stall put back those old champion plugs in my old Toyota they ran perfectly fine.

just so you know, a lot of cars DO NOT run well with platinum spark plugs. Never use them unless they are OEM installed. Bosch platinum spark plugs have been the culprit in many vehicles with driveability issues.
check your distributor cap and rotor, and probably replace them. It's real easy.

3 whole cylinders of raw power!!!

u should of put some anti-seize on the threads... so they dont lock up on you in the future

Dont ever use bosch plugs..They are junk..The electrodes break and or fall off into the cylinders and destroy your engine..This did happen to me. I had to buy a new motor for my chevy blazer.I researched it online and in about 5 min i found 10 other cases of this happening to other people..

My Haynes manual says 1999 and later metro's spark plug gap is "0.039 to 0.045-inch (1.0 to 1.1mm)" So I guess anything in between will work.

Yeah it gets around 35mpg on a heavy foot. with eco driving can get over 40mpg. being a 3 cylinder engine economy car it doesn't go very fast but it will keep up with other cars in the highway. I'm usually passing cars on the highway lol, but thats because they are slow drivers.
the engine is 1.0L 55hp, 58 torque, I have gone its top speed of 85mph (95 if you push it into redline)
