The book "Transparency" argues that while many organizations give lip service to the idea of transparency, true openness and candor is rare. Author James OToole explains what it means to be transparent in the business world, why it's so important, and how organizations can take steps towards it.

  • Garyowen why do I get the impression that your '4ever' immortal egotism has gone to your head, distorted your perception of the world... if you're somehow right about Goleman, a better informed public, what he advocates, will be more likely to wise up and judge him accordingly.

  • goleman is a wild eyed crackpot control freak.

  • James O'Toole has written a number of books including the one I like the most on values based leadership "Leading Change." If you can get your hands on "Vanguard Management" - do it.

He is a brilliant author and speaker - I heard him speak a number of times. He is also a top consultant.
