My favorite vacation spot only an hour from my house in Puerto Rico. Culebra is a virgin island with less than 2,000 inhabitants, 6 stop signs and no major hotels or resorts.

  • I've been to this gorgeous place about 6 months ago.The beach is beautiful no doubt. It's not crowded and the sand is soft. Sadly, the only accomodation on this beach is poor. The linens are horrible, the shower had only hot water available. This beach has potential for a more upscale hotel. I would definitely go back again if the accomodations were at least 3 stars. I'd like to go back, but not until my accomodation standards are met.

  • @bellapparel I big resort in Culebra would ruin the charm of it. I like that its a bit rustic. Locals don't want hotels.

  • Isn't it the BEST! I go every year.

  • @yiannig hotels fuck up the land around them with construction it better to have nothing like you sed

  • @bellapparel This whole island is very rustic. You want upscale? Stay on the big island or Vieques. There's plenty of places to stay on Culebra. Mountain view villas are available & very luxurious. Remember that EVERYTHING on this island has to be BROUGHT over by FERRY!! Do Culebra a favor and stay somewhere else next time!

  • @yianning - I insist that the existing hotel in Flamenco beach would benefit from more tourists only if they would improve simple things such as good beds, good linens, and better showers. Oh, and a hair dryer is a must as well.

Also, if the people in the town don't want hotels in the area, fine. I respect that, but this would improve their economy by creating jobs for the locals. Also, this would bring more money to fix the primitive and dangerous roads that are there. Improvement needed!

  • I went here 1 yr ago and fell in love no stress no bs no nada. Love it and want to go back soon.

  • man this place is so beautifull,,,love puerto rico!!!!!!
