05 GMC Sierra w/ Throttle Body Spacers

******Update 9-2-08*****

ok so some people remain skeptic about the throttle body spacer. my guess on how the spacer works is like this.

if your truck is lightly modded for example just exhaust and intake then you will see the gain in performance.
but if your truck is modded up the ass then its natural that you wont see any increase in HP or TQ.
Before i got the spacer i only had flowmaster muffler and K&N intake. sure the intake gave me some HP but lacked TQ. as soon as i put the spacer on i felt a noticealbe amount of TQ gain to back up my HP increase from the intake.

just so you know there is absolutly no gain from a tbspacer on ls engines those are only good for TBI's and carbed engines.

well i dont know where you keep hearing that but for me it shaved off .2 seconds off my 1/4 without it i did 16.3 with it i ran 16.1

when i ran the truck with and without the spacer it was cold temp, 63-68 degrees cold

how big of a spacers do u have if u dont mind me askin cause i have a 05 z71 with a 5.3 an i had a spectre airfilter an a flowmaster i put a spacer an i honestly couldnt tell a difference it just whistled more thats bout it

i have a 4.8 gm. i have a poweraid tbs and i can tell a big difference in gain of hp and gas mileage. it does give you a whistling sound. the only problem is that it only has spacific rpms that it works best and plus i have the cold air intake on it.
