@Unphased409 u act like drifting is a noun and not a verb. Drifting is simply losing traction of the rear wheels, no matter what terrain you're on.

@chrispdogg Drifting is just for snow and dirt? Drifting is mainly for pavement, propelled by REAR wheels only, if its fwd or awd its just called controlled power sliding.

That is what drifting is for. It's for the snow and dirt.
What do you think drifting is? It's literally just sliding. All it is is the back wheels having less traction then the front, the whole art of it is even called "catching the slide". It's a real thin line between drifting and spinning, which is why why it's so skillful.
