  • Good info.

  • @paisleyyama Glad you liked it :)

  • Starchy vegetables? Big banana snoothie is much nicer 1000 calorie + meal

  • @bluesdog88 That's true. One just needs to learn to eat larger quantities of fruits and veggies. Then it wouldn't be hard to get enough calories.

  • My issue with Dr. Goldhamer's point of view is that if one argues that humans have been processing their food with heat for such a length of time, one could argue that humans have been hunting and cooking meat for an equally long time. What I normally say when confronted with the latter is that just because humans have done some things for ever, doesn't mean they are optimal/correct/ethical today.

  • @richiemonster3 I agree with you completely. Also time is very relative. One might argue that Homo Sapiens have been hunting and cooking for a tiny percentage of the species existence on Earth.

  • If we are a product of nature then as with all creatures our natural food can be found in nature in its raw state. We have to use tools to kill animals, even if we would succeed to kill say a cow with our bare hands the question presents itself: what now? How are you going to prepare it? You are not going to just eat it as it is. There is a reason why the blood has to be drained. So if in the beginning humans ate animals then only when they absolutely had to. Blending is new, chewing is not tho.

  • @richiemonster3 Brain bleed? That's not good!

  • @kratosSOZ I agree, I guess it takes some time and practice to relearn to eat the way our fruit eating ancestors did (large volumes of fruit). Our stomachs might need to stretch a bit for that ;)

  • Firstly, reading lovebigboobs29's comments makes my brain bleed.
