We all know the wolves are endangered.
Although they are making a comeback at Yellowstone National Park, there might be plans of putting some of them down if their population keeps growing . . .

Here's "A Wolf Story"

A wolf pack travels, watched by human eyes.
A plane flies above, doors open wide.
The hunters stand, and load their guns.
And their rifles fire, killing all but one.
The last wolf goes unnoticed, shocked by what they've done.
They've left their bodies rotting in the sun.
They've killed the wolves, apparently just for fun.
"The hunters will be punished," cries the last wolf.
"The hunters will be punished for the souls of the lost ones."
The wolves weren't remembered, and the story never told.
And the wolves were forgotten, there in the cold.
The last wolf died. Frozen in the cold.
While the hunters sat nicely, warm in their homes.
