Naim Amor - Reminds Me of a Song

Filmed on THE coldest day in the winter of 2010. It was about 18 degrees with heavy winds.
It was so cold we had to quickly shoot, and then run inside somewhere to warm up.
The actors were so good, you can barely tell how cold it was. The girl clown is played by Maya Caballero who is an amazing singer songwriter.

I spend a lot of time on the subway here in NYC listening to my Ipod.
I'm a big fan of the music of Naim Amor and I especially love the Soundtracks albums because it makes my every day ride on the subway my own movie and it gives it an amazing sound track.
The song "Reminds me of a Song", off of Soundtracks Volume 3 is one of my favorites.
It was the inspiration for dreaming up this story of being lost, rejection, mis understandings, hunger and ultimately in the end a union of two souls that save each other...and they just happen to be clowns.

Can't thank you enough Naim for your music and inspiration!

It was so cold during that video shoot that Chris Carlone and I both said we wanted to cry from the cold! That never happened to me before.

Maya's acting was so real that one of the hog dog vendors outside of Central Park thought she really didn't have enough money for a hot dog and offered her one for free.
