I imported this 3-model package from the US over ebay. Nice kits that bring back memories of the Star Trek movies. The small scale is fabolous and fits well to my other ~1/2500 scale kits from Gundam and Yamato.

  • The two smaller ships were originally glue together kits instead of snap kits, they fit rather poorly without gluing. Still not a bad kit for someone with decent skill, but NOT a beginner's kit as the box suggested.

  • @Scioneer Where do I sign? :-)

    Thanks for the comment!

  • can u show with the decals on, or maybe even show how fiddly the decals are to put on. I'm contemplating getting an AMT but painting it instead, as the polar lights is too huge.

  • @Apocholypse

Sure. I'll do it when I come to that stage.

But I'm quite busy with work/other hobbies right now so I can't tell when that will happen.

  • Nice kits, I'm actually becoming fond of the small spaceship kits, very well detailed and just fun to do...

BTW, how are you doing on your Five Star Story diorama?

  • @HELLFIRExxIFRIT

I haven't touched it for a while. For "totally unknown" reasons I got bored of sanding all these tiny bits and pieces. I guess it's perfection burnout...meanwhile I've become very indecisive on what to do with it...I'll go back to it but right now I don't feel like that.

Theoretically just applying the decals might work. Most of the colors are covered with them.

  • @lhasarus screw work and hobbys do it now

  • So easy to assemble lol
