I will never forget this day. I remember that Mr. Obama had said several times: "If I become President...", and thus he would continue. At one point, I was so enraptured, that when Mr. Obama exclaimed after a certain pont made: "If I become President..." and I yelled "When you become President...!" He paused, and stated... "No, if I become President... I'm superstitous...." I felt honored and embarassed at the same time. Mr. Obama, you're the 1st President I ever had. Thank you, sir.

This song fits exactly what I felt that day in St. Louis...extrodinary moment in my ordinary life..
Beautiful day, beautiful people..I will never forget the amazing energy as different races stood side by side and treated one another with such respect. Candid, open conversations on race were struck up between black and white strangers, and no one pushed and no one shoved. We didn't even wait in any kind of traffic coming or going!

I am 43. I got goose bumps and tears in my eyes watching this. Well done, America the Beautiful!!!! Best witness of History in my life time, hands down. :0) (well the moon was good too, but I was so little then on my Daddys lap)
