This is my second try for making a kiwi fruit time lapse. I'm not sure if you saw the first one, but it was a failure. Here is the link...

This time I decided to cut the Kiwi open to release the moisture from inside. It was amazing how resilient the fruit still was to decay. I forgot to write down the starting date for this time lapse, but I'd say that it was shooting for over a month.

I made a startling discovery when shooting it. At first, the Kiwi started to shrivel up and get smaller, but after several weeks it actually started getting bigger again. Can anyone explain this to me? That is why in this reverse time lapse the kiwi gets smaller at the beginning. That wasn't an editing trick. That was what really happened.

This video was shot with a Sony HC-46 Mini DV camera. It took a photo every five minutes and I had over 8000 photos total. In the end, the final product used about 900 of those photos.

The music is "Smiling Eyes 30" from the Studiocutz Music Library. A royalty-free source of music (It's not free. You pay for the song, but you can use it as many times as you want and don't have to pay any additional money).
