Storms that moved through the Northern Suburbs on June 21st 2011 around 8:30-9:30pm. Mt Prospect was one of the hardest hit along with Arlington Heights and many other Northern Suburbs.   • Mt Prospect screwed up by Not blowing the tornado siren. Investigation as to why not will take place .

  • Thanks for sharing this. I live in Mt. Prospect and was hiding down my basement with my husband's motorcycle helmet on . I didn't really think it was a tornado because I have lived here all my life and they always sound the tornado sirens and no tornado.
