That s right.!A solar eclipse in Asia
-
i was watching it from my balcony with two sunglasses on
i didnt have the proper attire to look at it haha
most of mainland china could see a total solar eclipse but here in hong kong we could only see a partial eclipse and that sucks
-
Get a grip man...... Boy the smart ones come out to play. Let me guess the eclipse got your brain? lol
-
Nice, thank you for doing that.... and putting it on here : )
-
It was a Total Eclipse but only some countries may have seen it in full. Main land china and India is a confirmed. Hong Kong seen an 85% eclipse.
-
Gothxshadow ...to bad you didn't see it and recorded it on your camcorder ! They said you could see it really well over Hong Kong . I live in California so I dont think we will see anything =(
-
u only get the full eclipse in china and japan
-
NOOB
Eclipses carry no evil forces~ Just make sure that you view it safely, e.g. by using eclipse glasses specifically designed for that purpose or pinhole projection. If you're lucky to view totality, you can remove your filter at that time (ONLY when the sun is FULLY obscured; not when the diamond ring or when any Bailey Bead remains)

Thanks July222009Eclipse for the reply. Unfortunately the continental US cannot see any of today's eclipse. Western US can see an annular eclipse in 2012 while a total one will be visible from a narrow corridor within the US in 2017.

I used Starry Night to simulate this eclipse. I think Stellarium can also do this job quite well. :)
