An asset increasing is a debit,
An asset decreasing is a credit.
The reverse is true for liabilities and equity,
If you get this then you get accountancy!

I teach accounting at Maui Community College and I showed this video to my class. I seriously think that some of the students passed their first exam because they watched this video over and over again. We thought it was hilarious, but at the same time appreciated the message. Aloha!
