Thank you for the beautiful phrasing. Fucking ignorant people who just don't about musical gift and focus on actual vocal timbre. He has such a wonderful and unique sound. You can identify him in any recording and the musicality is superb and natural. Other singers before can't do justice musically to any piece. He is a wonderful singer, musician and an inspiration to a whole continent!!!!

Heard Lawrence Brownlee tonight at the MET sing the aria. After listening to him I don't know what people like so much about JDF. The voice is so thin. Brownlee has such a wonderful presence on stage.

@PastaAndPavarotti Thank you so much for saying that.Yes, he's very charming and all, but the trick is singing this aria with a VOICE. You can't compare this to Luciano.I said that to friends after a performance in Vienna with Flores & that anorexic, voiceless french soubrette whose name I can never remember,and I almost go lynched by the people standing around.Live,he sounds like a boy soprano...when you can actually hear him. But,to be fair, his concerts are very good.
