This song is so fucking beautiful. There's just something about when he says "maybe I'm in love with you" the first time that just gets me.

@elementz1986 I agree with you on all points, man! It's the _character_ of the original, Perrett's voice. As much as I like YLT, this cover of "whole of the law" sounds simply too "easy listening" for me. Exactly what you said: "pleasant"

@elementz1986 As with most YLT covers, this far surpasses the original. The original is alright, especially considering it's an only ones song, but there's far more emotion, and far less annoying cheesy guitar, in this version.

Nice cover but I still prefer the original....the guitars, sax and shaky vocals give it so much character and emotion. This is just "pleasant".

The Only Ones were a good punk band...also I don't consider the original cheesy but that's just differences in opinions.
