Denise D Miller for Detroit City Council

I ask for your support in my endeavor to serve my community as an
honorable member of the Detroit City Council. I am a life long
resident of the City of Detroit by choice. I have been a proponent
and a champion for the City all my life. My family is steeped in
Detroits history. I am the granddaughter of a sharecropper, who
migrated from the harsh terrors of Mississippi in 1945. He landed in
the Motor City and obtained a position with Dodge Main where he served
faithfully over 30 years. Much like President Barack Obama -- from
my parents and grandparents, I learned my middle class values "if
you work hard, get an education, save your money, you can be what ever
you want to be."
