These are so good - you have to try them - only problem is that when you have one you will want another and another...

  • You've made them all wrong.

  • It must not taste like pasteis de nata but they must taste like british tarts of the future !!!!!!!!!

  • That's not the portuguese Pastel de Nata at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • you dont cut the pastry like that ... you cut a roll of pastry at the room temperature it means soft pastry consistence , then you spread with your finger all over the metal trays ( individual or not ) , so the puff pastry as well you should do it by hand , cose the one you by in the supermarket is not good , not enough butter to make the pastry crunchy and make a specialy noise when you press the pasties ... so is just a bad copy ... next time you could do it better

  • Portuguese Natas doesn`t use Vanilla pod , is not a Custard but a cream with egss ...

  • You're still light years to really know how to make the " Pasteis de natas"....still have much to learn ...

  • @watchmecooking The video I mentioned is this one:

    watch?v=n529ZWCjYpI

Although the video is in Portuguese you can probably tell what's going on by watching. If you need details I guess you can ask her if you like.

I know your comment was a year ago but in case you're still interested I hope this helps. She's very good.

  • @watchmecooking If you mean Pasteis de Belem you wont get the recipe. Its supposed to be a secret. While many people say they are the best (possibly influenced by the allure of the recipe being secret & nothing else) many people say theyre not better than normal portuguese pasteis de nata & some even like pasteis de nata better than pasteis de belem. If you want a good recipe for pasteis de nata look around Youtube. The user "saberintensocom" has at least one that looks good.

  • @bufokardo se isto e pasteis de nata entao se fosse a lisboa passava se

  • @watchmecooking pasteis de nada are from portugal
